Yesterday was Thanksgiving

And it was ever so much fun and delicious. Instead of Turkey, we had Roast Pork.
My cousin James introduced me to the animated works of Don Hertzfeldt. His work I think is funny, but it's supposed to have strong artistic meanings which I need to go to art school to understand. Bah.

I got Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro working on my computer, which is awesome. I also am working on my Cube4 video. Don't distract me.

You, Inc.

Another day, another 24 bucks at work for a three hour shift, and some menial tasks at school garenteeing me another 176 bucks at work for an eight hour shift in the somewhat reasonably near future.
IN a totally not existential and really cool way, I have this nutso idea of (I'm not sure if it would be a flash, browser, or Xbox Live Arcade) game that would be like a 2D side-scroller of.. like... think Will Wright's Sim Industry. That's my idea. You, Inc would be a game all about big buisness, industrialism, economics, and maybe buisness-related Left and Right wing Political philosophy if you're feeling hardcore on Tycoon difficulty. The entire thing came out of a doodle I made in Chemistry class of a dynamically rendered Box, which I wrote on the side 'INDUSTRIES'. As the class progressed, I added more boxes on the side, taller ones, fatter ones, a water tower, smoke stacks, a Rail delivery depot, simplified underground infrastructure, and all of a sudden "Hey!". The idea wound around in my neat little mind all through work. Maybe once I get Photoshop woking on my computer, I'll make something to look at. Or maybe I'll make it in 3Ds Max once I get a bit farther on Cube4.

Still contemplating this crazy Operating System that's been kicking around in my skull for about a month.

Youth in the City was awesome today, and I hope to get closer with God.

The Hypnotic Sound of the Twilight Zone. Cube Animatons and such.

I have begun animation of my next Cube animation. Things seem to be going well, so far about 12% of animation is done, I think.
My last animation was three particle systems, which I simply animated as the song progressed. That was easy, relatively speaking. One particle system for a Rave song's High, Medium and Bass. This time I'm doing a much more cinematic kind of deal, using Manhattan Transfer's "Twilight Zone/Tone" song. Which means I'll be needing particles for the Drumset, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Keyboard. There are 12 systems devoted to the DOODEEDOODO part for the first 10 second. Arg.
The bass was easy enough, just adding a Audio Controller between the value of 0 and 1, and just edited the track to have super heavy bass and no high frequencies. I won't get off so easy with everything else.
It's saddening I'll be sick of the song when it's finished. Dedication means perfection, and dedication also means watching the animation in parts about 3000 times over.
Oh well. Join me in the laughing activities as I go...

Lunchtime!

Astounding Whirlitzers, it's been a Month?!

My computer went busted about 4 weeks ago and now it's bloody working again. 'Bout time.
The enourmous viral damage required having to completely wipe the C drive and reinstall the Operating System. My Documents were saved, but all my programs are gone.
Forever.

...
Oh well, live and let go.

English class assigned me Tuesdays with Morrie to read, and I enjoyed it very much. Very moving. I personally take Morrie's proverb as a creed now; "Love each other or Perish". Life is that simple.
Whelp, I still gots lots to do if I'm gonna get this train wreck a rollin'.

Joy

This night I feel quite content with myself in that-
School- began on Tuesday and now that I have gone through most of my more difficult classes that don't seem so hard yet, Ithink this will go awesome this year. I want to apply for like a million scholarships and get free money.

Compy- Burn'd a new music CD with a bunch of my newer fave music. And here's a link to a moving video. Once again by the geniuses of LitFuse Films.

How 'bout I hit you on the Slant?

An odd greeting 'tis be that. It's a way of saying high-five I think.
First day of school may as well not exist, it didn't really do much. Got a locker, meh and meh.
Fooling around in Garry's Mod link some today, got a bit more endorsement from the fact that Wiremod doesn't work to get a legit version. Pirating sucks for video games because it makes all the good bits not work.

I found on the Escapist forums as well, this fun little tidbit. An achievement generator.

Kiss me, Son of God!

Title inspired by today's song: They Might Be Giant's "Kiss Me, Son of God". A song all about capitalism. I take the title literally and like the Christian appraisal.

Today is quite late because I have work in the morning, so I'll be quick with this one. Not much happened today, much like my missed yesterday (which was spent just like Tuesday).
I finished my Homestar-TeamFortress 2 picture that I started in like... February.

My Snaptake! animation is gonna be on hold until I can get some inspiration for the characters.
